They provide information on the amount of power drawn from each outlet, each circuit and the entire PDU. Switched PDU Compact networkable power distribution with switchable outlets The CyberPower Switched series of power distribution units (PDUs) are intelligent distribution units that allow remote monitoring via an SNMP interface for local management. They provide the ability to control individual outlets and allow shutdowns or restarts of connected equipment. The digital meter provides load and voltage information and prevents downtime due to overload or other events in the power supply. The Switched Series PDUs have 8 unfiltered outlets and are ideal for installation in server cabinets with a 1U footprint. The dedicated PowerPanel Business Edition software can be used to communicate with the PDU and integrate with our UPS devices. In addition, a web server is built into the PDU, which is managed via the browser. The browser can connect to the PDU via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) or via encrypted communication. A management framework for SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) integration is available. This makes it easy to link events with other data and to carry out actions.
